A preview of the new ballet "Songs by Cole," with Cole Porter’s music performed live onstage, choreographed by award-winning choreographer Diane Coburn Bruning. Angie Sansone and Patric Palkens dance the "Miss Otis Regrets" pas de deux, with Lena Seikaly on vocals and Barry Gurley on vocals and piano. Chamber Dance Project burst onto the Washington scene in June 2014 with a critically-acclaimed season at the Kennedy Center. Founded in 2000 in New York by award-winning choreographer, Diane Coburn Bruning, CDP is dedicated to creating and performing works of contemporary resonance with musicians and dancers collaborating live in intimate spaces heightening the impact on audiences. CDP’s Community Engagement Program commits to sharing the creative process and affording children and families the performance experience donating 100 tickets to area social service agencies.
